Today, in an attempt to 'spruce up' the outdoor area, the Nursery children each brought in a plant and planted it with the help of the parents, and our resident gardening expert Miss Patel! Braving the constant downpour of rain, the children were able to successfully plant their plant, and label it with a lollipop stick to ensure everybody knows that they played their part in creating our now very colourful outdoor garden!
A big thank you to all the parents who brought in a plant and got involved with our gardening project, and of course to Miss Patel and her Year 5 helpers, who spent several hours getting wet and muddy outside for the cause!
The children each planted their plant to create a varied and colourful outdoor garden!
Meanwhile, in the warmth of the classroom, parents and children engage in a range of garden-themed activities!
