Trelawny Class Newsletter 7.10.16

Hello! This week onward I (Noah Hamilton) am going to put the newsletter on the blog!

In maths this week we have carried on with negative numbers. In problem solving we were using scales using lighthouses and the sea. We also carried out an investigation looking at the temperature of ice over time using thermometers.

In literacy this week we have adding excellent adjectives to a Laika the dog story. We want to use some higher level adjectives so our stories aren’t boring.

Rising Stars…

Next week we will be doing Rising Star assessments in reading, writing, SPAG and maths. These assessments are used by Mr Houghton to see what pupils can do and see what we need to cover or re-cover in the future. We go through the answers in class and learn exam strategies.
