Invaders & Settlers
Week beg 1st March
Today we were writing about the creation story dream time (it is fromin Australia) we also done some handwriting.
This week we have been doing some art in the art we looked at some French paintings from 1890.
We have been doing some numeracy about bar charts.
The title was how many children were in your family.We are doing our Dreamtime
books.
we have been doing some R.E with Miss Jones about best friends.
In French we learnt the different weathers such as sun, rain, snow and wind.
Book fair today,and we are all very exited! We are also having a book-swap because it is
creative arts week!
Today we did our times table also we watched a video of how God made the world and made pictures
out of chalk.
Finishing are work in e.r.i.c.We have been practising are Anglo-Saxon play. We have made are Saxon
carts.
Week Beg 8th Feb
We have been working on our addition today and finding IF Cheswick Green was a Saxon settlement
Week beg 1st Feb
On Thursday we did some bird watching with Mr Gregory, Mr Birch and Liz came in to help us. We saw some pigeons, blackbirds, robins, blue tits and some chaffinches . Mr Birch said next time it would have been even more interesting if we did it in the morning. We had a great time!
Today some of us were a little confused because we didn't know that the heating was fixed. We are glad we are back
The heaters in the huts broke down so year 3 & 4 had to go into the ICT suite and group room. We mostly did our work on the computers and we got to work with Miss Baxter
It was nice to work in a different environment.
Thursday
We made our own time line,it is very good.
We have had a very busy week we are concentrating on our spellings.
Monday
The pantomine was good because I liked the 3D part.
We wrote a book report on Panic in the Pool and
The Gorilla.
Friday
Today was brilliant! we went to see the pantomine Sleeping Beauty.
Today we played a game in numeracy. Team A lost, but it was still fun! We did some literacy about adjectives.
Wednesday 13th Jan
We have been playing in the snow . It was fun! We made snowmen, we made snow balls. We love it in the cold snow. It is freezing.......... out there. We are trying to make the biggest snowball ever!
We have been learning about the brain and who are intelligence grows.
Monday 11th Jan
We have been finding out about moving house,country and town.We filled in some
sheets about living in the same village or/and home,moving country,having relatives in different country and finally.......our religion..
We have been multiplying up to 10, 100 and 1000. We have been working on adjectives. This week we are doing about moving homes . Mrs Chana has given us a sheet that has questions on moving homes. We had to get in a group and anwser the questions. there are no right or wrong answers.
We have been finishing off our Cinderella
and we have been multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000.
Friday 8th January
We have wrote our happy new year resolutions and wrote some sentences and cut our name out wobbly
We have been learning about the brain and how our intelligence can grow!.
Today we are doing some work about the pantomine we visited.
I am enjoying today.
