The children have listened really carefully this week and followed the advice from the teachers. They have had plenty to drink and they have stayed in the shade when the sun has been very strong. Despite the extreme heat the children have had a 'whale' of a time and we have really enjoyed learning about the story and as well as interesting facts about whales. The classroom now looks like an underwater haven! The children have made some beautiful whale pictures this week and they are very proud of them. We would like to thank the parents, grandparent and carers for their amazing support with this week's challenge. Teaching young children about water safety is so important and the children were confident and articulate about the signs and dangers that they may face when near water. We have made a lovely display of all your contributions so that the children may be reminded. What a super week!
