'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch'

We would like to thank the parent/grandparents and carers for helping the children make such wonderful lighthouses for the challenge this week! It looks like the grown-ups had a lot of fun too...

In school the story has inspired the children to be creative and use a really wide range of media to make their own lighthouses and picnic baskets. There has been lots of great team work and problem solving when trying out new techniques. The children have used playdough, lego, multi-link, paper, cardboard boxes, sellotape, glue...anything they could find! You can collect their wonderful creations at the Open Evening later in the term so that they may take pride of place at home.

The sandwiches that the children made this week in our cooking sessions were so delicious that they were eaten straight away with none left to share at home time. (Or any for the seagulls to steal!) What a super week, well done Foundation.
