This term we have been lucky pupil! We have had helpers in to give us extra learning help, have been learning to play string instruments,and have been making working lighthouses! We have been learning all about
Llandudno this term and have made Llandudno souvenirs,Painted and drawn buildings in Llandudno and also learnt about it's attractions.
We have been doing creative work with Mrs Dunkley and doing poetry,similes,alliteration and verbs with our leaves that we chose with Mrs Dunkley. And write about the leaves flowing in the wind as well as doing very strong descriptive words.
We have been reading a book called Fair"fair it is about a poor boy called Jackson who finds a dog who take Jackson to a house were he meet Lillypolly and they have a strage feeling about the dog.I recommend you to read this book because it is an adventurous book!
My favourite part of the term has been to design a good advert , we looked at examples of good adverts and found out they contain:
a slogan,wow words,a rhyme,scientific words,words that will make your customer
feel good, very colourful pictures.
There are lots of slogans like; 'there is lots of ice cream just like a day dream' and 'its cold its scrummy its the yummee.'

Year 4 have written this page themselves to tell you all about what they have enjoyed this term.
We have been learning about Victorian Llandudno-they went to Llandudno because it seaside holidays were getting more popular. Mostly it was the rich
people that went to the most expensive holiday's because they had the most money.
We have done directions and made our own treasure maps -we have used the directions north,east,south and west.
I am really enjoying doing my times tables I have done my 7x table, 8x table, 6x table and 4x table I really what to do my 12x table but I think it is next.
We have been learning about time we all know that the little hand is the hour hand and the big hand is the minute hand we also no how many minutes to the next hour and how many minutes past the hour and we now how to use an analogue clock.
In science we have been learning about light. It was fun learning about the eye,
how we see and natural/man made sources of light.We did a comic strip about
when there was a power-cut at Elgors( our made up character) guest house.
We are now all looking forward to showing our parents all of our wonderful work in our parent share!!
