Creative Week in 4B!!
Our Creative Week began with a workshop with
Mrs Bartley and our parents. This started the school competition for writing about a walk in the woods!!We used the ICT suite to record our ideas...it was great
fun!!
For the rest of the week, the Year 4 classroom has been turned into a News Hub!! The children have all become news reporters for the week!!
After learning about the features of a newspaper, Year 4 adopted the roles of some likely characters in the story of Goldilocks and The Three Bears. This helped them to prepare for their reporting roles in the News Hub!!
Following their report on the antics of Goldilocks, 4B news had another story to deliver, that being the heroic role of Jack in dealing with the Giant that had been terrorising his village!!

On Friday, the 4B news hub focused it's attention on the location of it's topic this term, Llandudno.
Following the story of two young boys who needed rescuing at sea, the class learned about the role of the RNLI in keeping safe by the water.
They assisted the residents and tourists of Llandudno in keeping safe by designing posters warning them of the dangers at the beach.
The News Hub moved to the ICT suite on Friday to find out how to produce their Llandudno News page on the computer so they were all ready to go to press!!
