CHRISTMAS BLOCK ART
As a teenager, I had an Adana printing press, a small hand letter press, that I used to make my Christmas cards. These pictures were created by cutting out of lino block. There was one design each year, so here you have a total of nine years worth of my Christmas designs.
As a teenager, I had an Adana printing press, a small hand letter press, that I used to make my Christmas cards. These pictures were created by cutting out of lino block. There was one design each year, so here you have a total of nine years worth of my Christmas designs.
It was very easy to get these designs into j2e. I photographed each one, loaded onto a j2e page, faded the image and locked it to page. Using the shape tool, I traced paths for each shape, straight lines at first, adding curves after. Then fill and group, shared in library, job done!
