tip of the day
Use revisions.
Do: use revisions.
Don’t: keep saving the same file with a different name. This will just clutter up your folder of saved files.

Everytime you save a file on j2e, a new revision is created. This very powerful feature means that if you change a file, and then wish you hadn’t, you can always get back to the previously saved revision. In fact, better than that, you can track back through all the saved revisions, right back to the first time the file was saved.
You can see revisions for a file by clicking on the ‘revisions’ link on the right of the button bar. (While in ‘advanced’ view)

As well as viewing all the early revisions, you can add a comment against a revision, or even revert to an older version.
It's also a great way for a teacher to monitor the development of a pupil’s document.
