Superusers
Superusers can view all files created within an authority.
There are two reasons why superusers exist on j2e.
1. The Authority is considered owner of all files created by their users. The superuser can verify that j2e is being used, and being used in the proper way.
2. The superuser can monitor use of j2e within their Authority, and so encourage good practice and sharing of good use between accounts.
Viewing all files
If you are a superuser, you can view all files for an authority by going to ‘my files’ from the main j2e page, and selecting ‘authority - xxx’ from the drop down list.
Or click here www.j2e.com/showcase.html?w=all
Setting up an Authority
Before superusers can exists, the school must be part of an authority. Schools that are part of a single sign on system (eg Shibboleth), will already be part of an authority - you may ignore this step.

Creating and viewing Superusers
Once a school is part of an authority, a ‘superuser’ tab will appear on the settings for admin and teacher users. This lists superusers for that authority. If there are no superusers, then email sales@j2e.com and ask to be made a superuser. Tell us your account name and user name, and why you think you are eligible to be a superuser.
Once a superuser exists, they have the power to make other superusers, and delete superusers. To be made a superuser, you must contact them.
The superuser tab lists all superusers so that admin and teacher accounts can see who has viewing access over all the school files.
