Notes for translators of j2e user interface
If you see a mistake in our translations, or wish to translate j2e to another language, then this page is for you. Please send us corrections so that we can improve our product.

Translation of j2e user interface is a two stage process. First an automatic translator is used on a list of English phrases, and produces a corresponding list in the target language. These are the translated files in the table below. Numerical values at the start of each line tie the two files together. However, as j2e is developed, the original English list is added to, and the numerical sequence changes.

The second part of the process introduces corrections to be applied after the above process. These correction files contain pairs of lines, the first being the English phrase to be translated, and the second the correct translation. These are the correction files in the table below.

If you wish to translate j2e to another language, or improve the translations we have, then it is the second correction type of file that you need to send us. For just a single correction we just need the English phrase, and the correct translation. english.txt is the starting point for any translations.

You will see two codes within the English phrases.
The first is bbbbbbbb (8 x b) which will be replaced by carriage returns in multi-line text.
The second is ____ (4 underlines) which are replaced by parameters in the displayed text.

Use the following links to download the translation files. It there is a gap, the file does not yet exist, but please send corrections to mailto:sales@j2e.com and we will create it.
