A few photographs
I'm not a bird watcher at all (I'm sure
if I was that I'd photograph more
interesting species than ducks and
seagulls!) but they do seem to make
good subjects for photos.

Drottningholm Palace, residence of the Swedish royal family.
My favourite city in the world silhouetted against the late evening sky.
A sunset on an island off Ekerö, just outside Stockholm.
Light was on my side for the photos to
the right, and the two on the left were
all about timing. I took the top photo
at 7am one morning and haven't seen
that bird again since.

And a slightly more spectacular sunset (although obviously caught earlier on in the evening) just outside Jönköping.
I think she only looked this attentive because cheese was being offered...
Benny Andersson (one of the Bs in ABBA) during a concert at Hamstead Heath in July.
A very colourful sunflower. Not a lot else to say about this one!
A shot off Älgö, an island east of Stockholm city centre. I left the city with bright blue skies and couldn't believe how bad the weather was on Älgö, but it made the photo more interesting.
And the same here - the sky was so dull that I put black and white mode on. I thought the abandoned boat and dreary sky symbolised the end of the summer pretty well!
The first frost of 2009
I was hoping for a picture of the full moon reflected in the lake but actually think the clouds make it more interesting!
