In the course notes we suggest using Gcast to upload you podcasts to the WEB.

There are now easier ways to do it. We suggest that you try www.j2e.com

Click on 'my account' towards the top left of the screen. Click on 'register'. To start its easier to register as an individual, rather than a school or institution.

Don't worry too much if you don't remember your email address - you can change it later.

Your user name can be anything you like (as long as someone else has not already chosen it). The user name will appear in the URL of the pages you save on the web. e.g. www.j2e.com/mratcliffe/sounds - is the name of a file that was saved by me called 'sounds'.

On the button bar you can click on to open a window, then you can get some instructions by clicking on 'help'.

Click on the blue box and look at the settings on the RHS of the page. Autostart means the sound will play as soon as you open the web page. If you have several MP3s on one page then you will only want one to play.
