We do everything at our disposal to protect and educate your child while using the Stokes School Network to access information on the Internet. However, we cannot protect your child when they are at home and at friend's and relative's houses, or accessing the web from their mobile phones. For this reason we firmly believe in educating the children in ways to protect themselves when in these situations. Please talk to your child about E Safety and use some of these web links to help you.

Think U Know All kinds of really useful information for parents, and children about using the Internet and staying safe. This also has an important link to report Internet abuse (a direct link to this is available on our website frontpage, for your quick access).
From time to time your child may require stills images or video images to be taken to record their work. In order to record your child's image in school, we must have your permission. It is very important to complete a Parental Consent Form to allow this to take place, otherwise your child will be missing an important opportunity to take part in the digital recording of their practical work in school.
There are also other reasons for recording your child's image and this form itemises these, allowing you to choose which options you would prefer.
If you have not already completed and returned one of these forms, please print a copy off from here and return it to the school office as soon as possible. Thank you.
