Performing Arts
At Victoria Junior School, the children regularly have the opportunity to take part in performing arts activities.
Year 6 put on an annual performance at The Paul Robeson Theatre, Hounslow. Past performances have included:
Honk! - 2008
Into the Woods - 2009
Aladdin - 2010
Alice in Wonderland - 2011
We offer a variety of dance opportunities in partnership
with Futunity UK, including Street Dance and Cheerleading.
Our dancers have regularly performed at The Beck Theatre,
Hayes, and in local secondary schools. We have made it
through to the UK National Finals of Dance Challenge for two
years in a row (2011 and 2012).
All classes and year groups have regular opportunities to
perform in special assemblies, and each Christmas Year 3
treat the parents and children to a special production in school.
Drama is embedded throughout the curriculum as a means of
encouraging Speaking and Listening and Writing.
