The Creative Curriculum
Victoria Junior School has a unique curriculum, which provides high levels of creativity and motivation for our pupils, encouraging them to investigate topics and themes in depth.
The curriculum was designed in collaboration by teachers and pupils together. The staff, in line with the National Curriculum and government guidance, have created progression maps showing how your child's knowledge and understanding of each subject will develop during their time with us. A working party of children collaborated together to design topic contexts in which to learn these skills. The result is an innovative and imaginative curriculum, where the children study subjects which interest them, while fulfilling the National Curriculum orders.
