4L ASSEMBLY:
On Friday morning Mrs Lewis’s class performed their assembly to the school. As part of their Memories topic they put on a show of music and dance from the 1950s to 1990s. Their choreography was brilliant and they all concentrated really hard to put on a fantastic performance. Thank you to all the parents and friends who came to watch.
DRAMA CLUB ASSEMBLY:
On Monday morning Mr Kaye’s Drama club, made up of a mixture of year 5 & 6 pupils, performed their western themed assembly. The story included an Evil Mayor called Tex, played by Sandra 6K, and his gang searching for hidden gold in Splodge city. With plans to take over the entire city and keep all the gold for himself Tex began his search but without the map! After a few helpful clues from the Indians the Mayor ordered the city people to reveal the missing map. Wilber the sheriff, played by Ellie 6O, held the secret of the map and along with Billy-Joe Brisket, played by Nadia 5C, fought to prevent Tex from claiming the gold and they saved the city. The wealth from the gold was shared and the town was made a better place.
R.E MORNING: Easter
Today the whole school have had a Religious Education morning and all of the classes have been learning about the Christian festival of Easter.
