Trojan War Diaries
Trojan Entry
Dear Diary,
Today was a lovely Summer's day, and, as usual, the Greeks attacked JUST BECAUSE THEIR QUEEN RAN AWAY WITH OUR PRINCE! I know! Their King could've just married another 'lucky' woman. To be honest, I wouldn't want to marry him anyway, just because he's a king. To me, he is SOOO ugly he looks like a wild boar mixed with a mud cake.
Hello, as my first entry, my name is Mokilosaeus, and that GREEK KING is DISGUSTING!
Today everyone thought that they had given up in attacking us, but I thought differently.
"STOP!!! IT'S A TRICK!!!" I yelled.
"There, there, Mokilosaeus. They've given us a present!" Mother said. Just because I'm Six, it doesn't mean I can't be a REALLY CLEVER mastermind! Anyway, they left us a 'nice' present! I toddled up to the wooden horse and said, "I hear them BREATHING IN THERE!" But no one would listen. The Greeks pounced! The WHOLE ARMY LEAPT OUT! I thought there would be more than just thirty soldiers in there. Someone landed in front of me and shoved me out the way! HOW RUDE! But, I swiped a box of matches out of his belt and then dived for cover behind one of the horse's legs. I lit the match and thrust it against the wooden leg. I then ran for my life as I saw the flames licking up the sides of the wooden limb, smothering the body with fire, it dazzled my eyes as the great structure threw up in flames. I then ran and saw the Greek army coming off of the ships. My mind raced. Aha! Once those awful baddies had passed me, I crept out from under the broken Table and sprinted over to the ships and saw my best friend Annastethus and yelled, "ANNIE!" she looked up and we ran to the boat. I leapt in first, Annie close behind. "AAHHH!" she cried, and her hand showed a deep gash. I whipped round and gasped as I saw a Greek Soldier looming over her. She darted behind me. I grabbed a sword and mine and the soldier's blades clashed! He was more skilled, but Annie grasped another sword with her good hand. We darted around him, and whilst I shoved him over the side of the vessel, Annie cried, "Good riddance! Mokkie, thank the Gods we survived!" as she tended to her hand. Then, with enough rations, we sailed away.
See you soon Diary,
Mokilosaeus
Greek Entry
Dear Diary,
Today we invaded Troy. The other army soldiers felt nervous, but I was strong! We battled the Trojan army and suddenly our horse caught on fire. But I took this as an advantage. While they were distracted I killed some of the Trojans. My men fought hard today, and we won.
GOODBYE FOR NOW,
Fistuthaes
