Pip Davenport!

As a young child Pip Davenport lived with his sister, (Cherry) and their parents (Lilly and James). He was a clever boy, who always wanted to learn new things. Sadly, in primary school, he got bullied, but never told anyone. When his mum found out she took him to another school. Thankfully, he liked it more there.

When he got a bit older he started with his uncle (Henry). His uncle always used to say to him, " Always believe in yourself. " It always mad Pip happy to hear that. When Henry would need some tools he would say to Pip, " Go to the shop and get me: a hammer and a screw driver, please" Pip couldn't say no. Every day at 2 o'clock Cherry came to check on us.

Pip was 19 when he created his first funfair ride called, Twirlie Whirlie. It became a hit in only a month! For creating Twirlie Whirlie he won a prize, but not just any prize he won, 10,000 pounds!!! Amazingly, Pip didn't want the money, he said, "I did not build the Twirlie Whirlie for money, I wanted you to have fun on it. I have more than I would ever want and that special thing is, my family! Thank you. "

Unfortunately, Pip Davenport died in 1920. He truly is an inspiration to all!
