WALT: Write a biography about Catrin Williams
Catrin Williams is a well-known artist. She creates Welsh inspired art in a variety of different media. Catrin Williams was born in Wrexham and grew up in bala and now lives in Pwllheli.
Catrin Williams went to primary school in Sarnau but that school is closed now. The school was small and in the middle of nowhere in the countryside. Her secondary school was Ysgol Berwyn.
Catrin Williams started painting at the age of 10 years old. She won an art competition.
Catrin’s first achievement was selling her first painting.
Catrin’s studio is massive it is by the sea and she loves watching the little kids walk back from swimming.
Catrin’s was inspired by Vincent van Gogh and Paul Clay this is why she started painting.
Catrin Williams hopes her art will inspire other people.
Catrin Williams advice to a new artist would be to keep a sketchbook and keep drawing.
