We have been very busy! As it was "anti-bullying week", the children came in wearing odd socks on Monday, to celebrate how everyone is different. They also designed brilliant odd socks of their own, did lovely kindness colouring pictures, and made posters by sticking on kind words to say to others. Turn over for more pictures.
The children have worked hard on counting and writing. They also did well with number writing and letter tracing.
The children joined in with nursery rhymes, and learnt about France. They watched a video about how croissants are made, did French flag collages, and decorated Eiffel tower pictures with cubes, straws, and playdough. They also loved learning French words for face parts, and pretending to be in a French cafe, with a French food menu.
They have worked hard on painting this week, using watercolour paints to make their own pictures, and making lovely paintings using sponges, inspired by French painter "Monet".
It was "Children in Need Day" on Friday. The children had a lovely time making Pudsey bear headbands, colouring Pudsey pictures, and putting bandages and plasters on teddies and dolls. Thank you for the money that was brought in.
