Gymnastics is a sport known by many people and is also hugely enjoyed! To be a good gymnast you need to be quite flexible ; in gymnastics one of the most famous moves is the splits. Most gymnasts need to
have :strength, balance, flexibility , agility , coordination,
trust and control. Acrobatic skills are always needed
for big events and competitions. The actual word
first used in the Antient Greek
as the meaning of disciplinary exersise.
Gymnastics could be performed anywhere!
Gymnastis is a sport that both men and women can attend to.There is lots of different shapes and moves that you might learn within a gymnastics lesson.Here are some of the most obvious moves : the splits , a brige , a kickover , a handstand , a cartweel ,a split roll ,a one leged pushup and a verticle kick. Lots of people attend gymnastics as it is very fun and enthusiastic!

Lots of people , who are training for gymnastics, train for about 3 hours a day ; normally train about 4 days a week! Gymnastics can be performed anywhere , you could perform gymnastics in the olympics, in lesiure centers , but only if they have space to keep lots of children who are preparing to perform for their performances, you could also perform it in gymnastics centeres, and in gym's
Looking at the picture above , gymnastics can be performed with lots of different objects like, pom-poms, balls and special gymnastics ribbons.
Routines are mixtures of lots of dance moves and shapes! To have a routine, you need to know a minimum of eight shapes and moves as the most shapes you could have in your routine is about eight.A routine is about one and a half minutes long ;five or four minutes would be too much to bear at competitions. A routine is normally made up and taught by coaches, who promote actual lessons.
Routines don't always have to be used for gymnastics, they can also be used in : football , basketball , cricket, dance and many others.routines are performed at competitions and the routines would be watched and judjed by judjes who would give you a certain score.

Elements are particular
moves that you use/perform

Also you would perform a routine that is about one and a half minutes long.You would have to wear a leotard that looks a bit like a swimming suit but is used for gymnastics not swimming .

I am Kiara and I love
gymnastics just like many others. I go to Heathrow gymnastics club which is a very popular gymnastics club around Heathrow. At Heathrow gym club we do lots of competitions and very hard training. I personally like it a lot. I love working hard and having fun with my friends. My coaches : Emily , Megan , Melania and Anoushka help me a lot with my work and training . I have lots of good friends at gym and I love going there.
