What a day!
As part of our Food for Life Bronze Award, we are committed to improving lunchtimes at school. One of the requirements was to say goodbye to flight trays and introduce plates and bowls to encourage good eating habits!
Last term, the Young Consultants met with the Head of City Catering and chose the colour scheme and design.
The younger children in school have been busy honing their tray-carrying skills in their classrooms this week.
... and TODAY we used the new crockery for the first time!
The children were delighted and gave their new lunchtimes a BIG thumbs up!
Thank you to Ann at City Catering, to Alison in the kitchen and to all our Dining Supervisors for ensuring a smooth and happy transition.
