Y4 Home Learning project Spring 2

During the second half of the Spring term we are learning about Worcestershire and habitats. The children can choose which topic to focus on or incorporate them both in to their project.

We would like them to use some of the skills we use at school (research, map reading, understanding data etc.) to find out more information about Worcestershire or habitats.

We will be learning about human and physical features and famous landmarks within Geography.

In our science lessons we will be focusing on invertebrates and vertebrates, classifying creatures and learning about changes to the environment.

You could:

Create an information poster

Design and make a habitat model (diorama)

Write a story about a habitat being destroyed or set in Worcester

Create a branching database

Write a report about a visit to Worcester or a habitat

Compare Worcester in the past to now

Plus…anything else you can think of!

Please include some writing.

The date of the homework showcase is Thursday 16th April at 2:45

Children are welcome to bring their work in before the date, we look forward to sharing your projects with us.
