Family and Community Mentor Page
What is a Family and Community Mentor?
I am here to listen. I can provide support and information so you are able
to make informed choices that are best for your family.
I work to foster a link between school and home and encourage families to become
involved in their child’s life within school.
This service is for anyone, no worry is ever to small, but families who could benefit from this support include those affected by:
Difficulties or changes at home such as bereavement, separation or divorce.
Challenging or difficult behaviour of children in school or in the home.
Accessing the wide range of services available to you across the Solihull borough.
How can you contact me?
Catch me on the school playground in the morning, speak to the any member of teaching staff or telephone the school office and I will arrange an appointment to suit you.

Back to Work!
After a very quick half term break, it's straight back to work at school this term!
These are some projects currently underway at School.
Year 6 Homework Club
This is an important and exciting last year for pupils in Year 6. I am continuing to run a Homework Club on Monday lunch times to ensure pupils can access support and are given an opportunity to start or complete homework that is set in class.
Healthy Snack Shop
Our Healthy Snack Shop Project continues to be a massive hit with children in Junior Years. Year 4 are currently working hard to design, market and produce a delicious and nutritious snack to sell at morning break. This initiative is funded by Tescos.
Conversation Station
This lunch time activity allows Junior children to pop in to chat about anything. If they have news, good or bad, they are invited to share it and how they are feeling. Small groups of friends are also invited to drop by too if they want help and advice about getting on and how to be a good friend.
