We enjoyed learning about the traditions of Chinese New Year this week and we have celebrated the Year of the Dog. We shared the story of the great race and learned why the rat and the cat fell out and have not been friends ever since! The children have brought in some traditional Chinese items for us to have a look at, we closely looked at the fortune cookies, the chopsticks and pictures that the children had made at home, thank you for all your lovely contributions!
