This week we used google maps to explore Cheswick Green from an aerial view. We were able to zoom in on the school and it's surrounding village, discussing the roads where we and/or our friends live. We looked at the range of materials used when building a house, discussing the differences and features of each, we also looked at some very interesting houses from Grand Designs. We saw interesting shapes and building materials and it gave us lots of ideas and we talked in detail about this, I think we have some budding designers, builders and architects! In cooking this week we made chocolate concrete, but don't worry, this concrete is edible and delicious!
