This week we have been learning all about homes from around the world. We have looked at different materials that people use in different parts of the world that are used to build houses, thinking about houses made from bamboo in Asia that are built in the trees, and why houses in Greenland have pointed rooves. We have looked carefully at their shapes and the features that they have. It has been interesting to see all of the pictures that the children have bought in and they have given us lots to talk about. Many children in Foundation 2, simply love the igloo, although hopefuly we shan't have any more snow!
