Gruffalo Shadow Puppets

This week the children have been practising their cutting skills and making the characters from the Gruffalo story. They have have been using their voices to perform their shadow puppet shows, some were very authentic indeed! During Safer Internet Day we were busy learning about the adults who can help us when we are using the internet, in particular what to do if we see a pop up, something unexpected or something we don't like. Smartie the Penguin taught us a song to help us remember to tell someone, before we tap and click. The children also had some time to practise paying compliments to their friends as we need to be respectful to others both in real life and on the internet. This was a bit tricky so we will be practising this again.
