Spotlight on a Headteacher- Miss Mason
My favourite reading at the moment is sharing books with my great nephews Oscar and Henry. Oscar is 6 years old and Henry is 3 years old and they both love reading and listening to stories. Now Oscar can read he often readsbooks to Henry. Wherever they are they love sharing stories and they have a massive collection of their own books.
One of my favourite sets of books that we shared was the Hairy
MacClary stories by Lynley Dodd. There are lots of books in the series and everyone made all three of us smile at the things Hairy MacClary gets up to. Hairy MacClary has lots of friends with interesting names and they all get up to mischief with Hairy MacClary. The illustrations are lovely and the stories are written in rhyme.
A big well done to all those children
who completed their reading rockets
last term by reading regularly at home.
Don't forget to try and complete it this
half too!
