Use Your Senses

Go on a relaxing walk with a

family member and discuss or

record everything you can see,

hear, touch and smell.

Remember the senses we

learned about from our senses

poetry - you can refer to

these!

        Smile or Frown!

Can you make a list of things

that make you smile and things

that make you sad. How can you

solve any problems and make

yourself stop worrying for a while

or go away forever!!

Children's Mental

Health Awareness

Playlist Party!

Choose some of your favourite songs and create a playlist to listen to. These may be songs you want to dance to or songs you want to sit and relax to.

Name is the game

Draw your name in bubble writing and write lots of words all about you inside the letters!

Use lots of different colours too!

What are you good at / what do you think about yourself - are you kind, helpful, funny / what makes you wonderful!

Mindfulness colouring

Relax your mind and let

the pencil guide you.

There are some on our

class page in the

'handwriting'

section under

fine motor

skills.

Daily Affirmation

Can you think of a quote

that makes you feel positive

or happy and makes you

want to conquer the world!

Turn it into a a beautiful,

colourful poster and stick it

up somewhere in your house

to remind your-self everyday!

For example, 'be happy' or

'never give up!'

Look to the Future!

Create your own well-being jar of all the things you are looking forward to when we are out of lockdown. When you think of something, write it don on paper and place it inside an old jar - e.g. an empty jam jar. You could even decorate your jar! You can start using this then when things start going back to 'normal'
