Take a look at what we are all about.

Our well-being champions attend the Health
and well-being Club every Tuesday lunch time with Miss Evans.
In Crynallt, we care about the health and well-being of our children and staff and have lots of activities, meetings, clubs and strategies set up to help with this!
We want to:
Help learners to understand the factors that affect physical health and well-being.
So that learners can care for and respect themselves and others and make good decisions.
Also, to communicate their feelings openly, so that the children feel very comfortable talking about mental health and emotional well-being.
Scroll through the pages to see what we have been doing:
Relaxation Bottles
Finger breathing- A great way to help you relax, calm down and get the oxygen back to the brain in times of stress. This helps our brain work properly. Some examples are below:
We have all been learning about TEAM HAP in Crynallt.
How our brains deal with stress and ways to help us!
We made delicious rainbow fruit kebabs!
Miss Evans taught us how to chop carefully!
For our enterprise event, we made Christmas decorations, to sell to our families to raise money to buy food for Neath food bank.
We enjoyed visiting Neath food bank to deliver the food, for people less fortunate than ourselves.
Keeping as still as we could during the mannequin challenge!
Taking time to be still is good for our minds.
Calming colouring and mindful thinking to De-stress!
We had fun doing this!
We have decided to improve the wellbeing garden.
We have decided to plant sensory plants and plants that bees like.
The well-being champions enjoyed planting and adding the new flowers to the well-being garden.
