The Solar System is our neighbourhood in space. It is a collection of planets and smaller objects, all travelling around a central star, the Sun. The Sun is a vast ball of glowing hot gas. It is so big and heavy that its gravity pulls all the objects in the Solar System. The Solar System is a collection of 8 Planets :
1: MERCURY 2: VENUS 3: EARTH
4: MARS 5: JUPITER 6: SATURN
7: URANUS 8: NEPTUNE, more than 170 MOONS, DWARF PLANETS and countless millions of COMETS and ASTEROIDS, all going around the SUN.
