Algorithm - a set of instructions

Instructions to get from the door to the reading area:

• turn left
• take 14 steps forwards
• turn left
• take 1 step forward

We ordered nursery rhymes to help us understand what sequence means and how to follow an algorithm in order

We used logical reasoning to predict the behaviour of simple programs. We predicted where the Bee Bot would stop when it followed the algorithms 1, 2 and 3.

We used Bee Bots to create and debug our own simple algorithms.
