We hope you like the first class picture of Team 2.3! We also wanted to include our class chicken, 'Justy' Justice! 'Mary-Carmen' (the friendly and gentle cat who visits the school most days) was hiding under the boat!

We are very happy to be back at school, and are looking forward to all the things that we have planned. In our English lessons, we will be looking at a range of books (some connected to our topic of Journeys). Some of the books will be related to the historical events and significant individuals that we will be investigating: the Gunpowder Plot; Amelia Earhart and Bessie Coleman; the Great Exhibition). In Geography, we are learning all about the Continents and Oceans of the world, and some of our Art lessons will be focused on creating art inspired from places, artists and cultures around the world. Animals (including humans) and their Offspring is our Science topic, and we are very excited to be going to Leeson House to investigate this further by pond dipping and looking how some animals, insects and reptiles develop.

We are determined to do our best, work hard and have lots of fun learning together this term! Keep looking at our web page to see what we have been doing in class.
