Metaphor
Metaphors are sentences that contain object or animal characteristics be given to a human.(e.g. Mum is a bear in the morning)A metaphor is a bit like a similie but it is stating the personality,a bit unlike a simile which compares the personality or object.Metaphors state without using the word as or like.
Similies
Similes are a type of comparision ,which is also a figure of speech in which two different thing are explicity compared.Similes use words like and as to compare(e.g. She is as red as a rose or She is red like a rose!
Personification
the attribution of human nature or character to animals, inanimate objects, or abstract notions,especially as a rhetorical figure.
