Microsociety

In our Microsociety lessons last week we learnt about currency; what it is worth, how to distribute it and what can be currency. We also decided on a name for our society's currency: our's are oras and orrions. There are a lot of things to think about when making currency, because if you release too much, it drops in value. We decided on having 200 oras each and we have made 50 ora notes, 10 ora notes, 5 ora notes, 50 orrion coins and 10 orrion coins. We are also thinking about what laws we would make around our currency. We also played Monopoly to get an idea of how to invest and what to invest in, it would have helped if we could of played for a bit longer, because we didn't get that far.
