Have you read the article in The Times about the famous cook who, celebrating the World Shakespeare festival, went to a still run traditional Tudor farm, plus a kitchen, to learn more about Tudor food. Our school were ahead of the games when on the last day of term, we, whilst having been studying the Tudors for the whole term, had a Tudor banquet! It was complete with avid entertainment, enthusiastically mastered dancing, a complete three course meal (everyone made something, even the king made a huge gingerbread cake and a multicoloured jelly!), a parade around the school, excellent costumes, all somehow related to the Tudors, and all in under five hours! Beat that, famous cooks!
