SCARCITY!

In class we have been talking about microsociety and have been talking about scarcity and what it means.It means that there is not enough of something for instance,food, types of animals and trees. We all need to put a little bit of thought into what's happenig around the world and try to help it as much as we can.

JUSTENUF(or was it?)

After we talked about scarcity Mr Williams read us a very interesting story about this world called Justenuf.It was about this different world that had just about enough thanks to a computer called ........... who could produce about anything if you asked it to. It produced just enough food for everyone in the world. Then one day ........ broke down because the computer was very busy looking after everyone they weren't looking after the computer. They ran out of food very quickly and they didn't know what to do! Ithink that they should all fly to earth and get as much food as they wanted e.g. killing animals for food and growing fruit and veg.
