After a long day yesterday, the children were tired and headed to bed just after 9pm. Thankfully for us adults, they all slept right through so we were able to get our beauty sleep! Today we woke up and had breakfast before heading out to our first activity at 9:15am.

Throughout the week, the children rotate around different activities. Today some groups practiced their aim during an archery session, whilst others went orienteering and tackled Jacob’s ladder. Those who managed to reach the top called out ‘It’s not Jacob’s ladder, it’s my ladder!’

There was also an obstacle challenge and a buggy build which required lots of team work. The weather has been both sunny and overcast so far - perfect for our outdoor activities. All of the children are having a great time bonding as a cohort and making new friends.

After lunch the children visited the onsite shop and bought sweets to enjoy during the movie night this evening. We have shared all of your messages with the children and are looking forward to receiving more :)
