Hi everyone, today I'm going to be blogging about something that I think is quite familiar with you all, a club that is run called 'Debate Mate!'

If you don't know what Debate Mate is, it is a club run in school teaching you all sorts of different skills for public speaking, arguing, and, most of all, debating! We have amazing tutors who come every week to teach us something new!

We have had amazing trips such as going to the grand house of parliament; the primary 'London-wide Urban Debate Mate League'; and the 'Launch event!' The launch event is something that happens every year with 'debate mate' in which they introduce you to debate mate and you get to see professional debaters battle it out

In the semi finals of the 'London-wide Urban Debate Mate League' we placed 6th, but, unfortunately, they only took the top 4. However, last year was our most successful year yet! And I am definitely proud to be joining again!
