An ocean is a huge body of salt water. Oceans cover nearly 71 percent of earths surface.

Sharks have skeletons that are made of cartilage is an elastic tissue that is created before the formation of bones begin. There are more than 300 type of sharks.

Sea turtle

There are 7 species of turtles and they are split into two families. All sea turtles have streamlined shells. The shell lengths of few individuals exceed 5 feet.

The word fish is used to describe many animals that live in water. Perch,cray fish, cuttlefish , jelly fish and even whales and dolphins all live in water. These are amphibians Primarily frogs, toads and salamanders. Most adult amphibians have legs and no scales.

Sea horse

Sea horse are small fish that swim upright. They are named sea horse because of their horselike head. There are more than 30 species of sea horse they use the small fins on their head and back to move trough the water.

There are more than 150 kinds of octopus. They live in all oceans except the arctic. Octopuses are carnivores they mostly eat crabs.
