What is a Savanna?

Savanna is located in Africa. Savanna is a faint area full of animals and places for example wood land ,grassland, and Georgia. Grassland is the biggest area in Savanna.

Animals in Savanna

Elephant

An elephant is the largest living land animal, Belongs to the scientific family. Elephants are related to the extinct mammoth and mastodon. Their closest living relatives are water- dwelling manatees.


Giraffe

Giraffes are a common sight in grassland. They are the tallest of all living animals.

Cobra

A Cobra is any of various species of venomous snake. Cobras can be found in Southern Africa.

Lion

Most of the lions live in Africa in grassland and open woodlands. lions are the only cats that live in groups. These groups are called prides. Lions are carnivores, meaning they eat other animals.

Grasshopper

Grasshoppers are eaters as food most often dried, rested grown into a meal most grasshoppers are herbivores, eating only plants.

It is important to protect our habitat because there are living things living in the habitat.
