Fitness Week - 8/6/21 to 11/6/21 and 14/6/21 - Blog
Hello! Today on this blog I am going to talk about Fitness Week and what I did. Then I am going to answer three questions that you might be thinking at the time you are reading this blog.Let us start!
Tuesday - 8/6/21
On Tuesday I did Just 4 Kicks at Beverley Park. It was fun. There were three activities to do.The first one involved hitting a ball with your hands so that you can pass the ball on to another person who has to pass with their hands to another person and so on.Also,in the first activity, you had to hit eight balls and run until all the balls have been put to their rightful place.For the second activity,it was like dodgeball. You had to dodge the ball,collect the 4 bibs and rush out of the circle.That was all.The third activity was cricket.I didn't do this one because it took too much time.
I rate this Fitness course 7/10.
Wednesday - 9/6/21
On Wednesday I did some tennis.It was not with any teachers however.We were free to play tennis with our friends with the courts we have.I had a fun time.I was unusually surprised,because I thought that we were going to have a lesson on tennis.Very unexpected.When I played tennis,it felt really weird because we were not playing on the Arena of the school.Otherwise it was fine and very,very fun!
I rate this Fitness course 9/10.
Thursday - 10/6/21
On Thursday I did an assault course.That is when all the Year 5 teachers teach the 4 Year 5 classes P.E (Physical Education) one thing at a time.The first thing I got taught was skipping.A fairly OK lesson.Skipping is really hard to do,though,so the lesson went badly.Otherwise fine.
The next P.E related lesson I did was cricket!I enjoyed it so much,especially when I was batter and wicketkeeper. Even though it was hard,it was still fun.Being a fielder,though,is BORING! You have to run and catch the ball and pass it on to the bowler (teacher).It is hard work being a Fielder.The third activity we did was football.This was when I had fun the most.The only problem is,I got hit on the stomach,and was painful for 2-3minutes. Other than that it went fine except that I didn't play as good as all the other players.😢

Friday - 11/6/21
On Friday I did sports day.Sports day was a nearly enjoyable affair,due to the fact that I was not doing my best.Sports day consisted of a throw-a-bean-bag-into-a-hoop activity,races,disc-throwing (I was really sorrowful when I heard that Kavishan,who was one of my friends,had got hit on the head by a disc.The discs were heavy,and he had to go to hospital!He is ok now.),egg and spoon race,hurdles and get-in-a-sack-and-jump-across-and-back activity.

Monday - 14/6/21
On Monday,which was my last Fitness course,I did zorbing and had fun riding on a slide and mini-course.These activity were hosted by the Lazer Lions (link to their website will be at the end of the text.) The slide and mini-course were fun,but very,very fast! The zorbing was also fun,but not fun due to the fact that we could bump into each other,and everybody kept on bumping me.
I rate this Fitness course 9/10.

Overall,I think I will rate Fitness week 8.5/10.

What was your best part and why?
The best part was the zorbing and the other activity I did on Monday because it was so fun and interesting and mainly weird!
What would you like again next year?
Defenitely the zorbing and the other activity I did on Monday.And also the tennis I did on Wednesday.
What could we do differently next year?
Maybe the Sports day - make it easier and maybe do laser lions once again (lazer tag bit,we never did that in the fitness week course.)
