Microsociety

This week in microsociety, we did our first simulation; it was chaotic. Everyone was buying things for their businesses and shouting what they wanted to buy. Sonny, the bank clerk probably had the most work to do, he had to write down every purchase that was made. We made a rule that every business had to give receipts to there customers and keep another for themselves as proof of the purchase. It was a bit less chaotic in the last simulation of the week as everyone had calmed down a bit on the buying. Some peoples businesses worked quite well and were simple but effective. Others lost quite a bit of money and didn't work that well. To give us an idea on some jobs, some visitors came in to talk about their jobs. All the civil servants got their money and the tax inspector collected the taxes.
