Profit and Loss

Dear Diary,

Before the half term we did some micro society and learnt about profit and loss as we had started our businesses.Profit means that u have gained money by selling your products.Loss means that u have not been successful in your business and you are not selling a lot of your products.we also discussed about if our businesses had profits or they were losing money and not selling a lot.Harriets business was very busy and popular so that meant that she had profits because people wanted her products which were popular.

As well as that we watched a video clip about the general election which came up on the eight of June .The clip explained the general election which happened in 2010 but it was different as no party won. All the class thought if we should have a general election but Mr Torres told them that we did have it which was the vote to choose our president.After that we did a small simulation and i had to Tax Officer as well as the Banker and for that i only got paid 25 scorpios

which was a lot less then i had last time.The time before i didn't do much work and the president paid me 170 scorpios.I thought i should have more salary then last time but it was the opposite . Thats all for this weeks diary!
