Microciety Journal Week 2 -Currency

This week in microciety we have learnt about currency . First we read another chapter of the story Just Enough. All the people had no food packets and they decided to trade a food packets for other food packets. We had a question that said what could people trade for other food packets? I thought that they could trade their food packets for even better ones .After that we played monopoly and discussed different strategies, one of the questions was would it make a difference if we had longer to play? I think yes because loads of other people in the game could of landed on free parking they could get an extra £200 pounds. If someone landed on pay £200 or if they go past the and gets £200. Another question was, was money important to the game? I think yes because if you have no money you can't buy anything and you will just lose .Next we discussed different objects used as currency such as shell's gold bars, a cow, diamond's, coins and much more . After that we discussed different currency's around the world and some people brought in foreign money.
