MICROCOCIETY

This week, in Microsociety, we read a small passage, called ' Who Rules?', from the story 'NOTENUF'. In this story, there was an argument about who should be the leader. There was a democracy, in that the people were allowed to vote for who they wanted to be the captain (leader) A democracy is a society which allows it's people to vote on the decisions that need to be made. I think that democracy is better than a dictatorship. This is where a leader forces his on decisions upon the people, whether they like it or not. However, in a democracy, you might vote for something but it does not get the most votes. Then, you have to accept thing that you voted against. This is fine, as long as what wins the vote is not morally wrong.
