Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere, where the seasons are the opposite of our seasons. So in December it is hot, and in July it is cold. In Australia it is mostly hot all year round in the North and cold in the South. But in the centre they have hot summers and cold winters . In summer , it gets so hot that they often suffer bushfires and in winter they can get snow.
