Dark Wood Manor

As I stood stiff outside the gigantic and mysterious gates, my heart was thumping rapidly with fear. My hair stood up and an icy cold shiver ran down my spine.  I nervously took my first step to open the rusty ,old gate. But I was actually petrified to even touch the gate . There I stood outside Dark wood manor just staring at it. I could smell a peculiar smell. What could it be ? Could it mean danger? Then the stench got more and more stronger by the second. My heart started beating faster and faster. Then I realized that the smell was nothing more the DEATH!!! Before I could even scream ,the deafening sound of silence was interrupted by a whisper. A quiet whisper. "Who is it ?" I redundantly said. No reply. "Show your self " I demanded. No reply. Slowly I attempted a small step . But then something stopped me. A weird eerie feeling , just like some one walked past me. I froze with fear-speechless. What is going on ?! I thought. I felt as a pair of eyes were staring at me, some one invisible...
